Hello,
On behalf of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), it is my pleasure to share information on the AAOS World Opinion Forum webinar that will be held on Saturday, April 10 at 1:00pm GMT. This webinar will be the first in a series of webinars that AAOS will host quarterly to provide a platform for discussion by an invited group of international panelists to address clinical issues of mutual importance and concern to the global orthopedic community. The intent of the World Opinion Forum Webinars is to provide a diverse, global viewpoint of common orthopaedic problems and potential challenges in treatment from various geographic areas.
The first webinar will focus on adult hip fracture management. Each panelist will provide a brief overview with a general perspective from their country or geographical region on how best to treat particular hip injuries and the rational for treatment selection. There will be opportunity for questions from the audience and interactive discussion. The webinar will be conducted in English.
Below you will find more information. We invite you to share this information with your membership to make this a truly global event.
Sincerely,
Coleen S. Sabatini, MD, MPH, FAAOS
Chair, AAOS International Committee
